Speed - Proximity - Rotary Sensors - Cherry

CHERRY's magnetic proximity sensors, speed sensors, and rotary position sensors are designed to meet the unique needs of OEM customers.

Speed - Proximity - Rotary Sensors - Cherry

The sensor is operated by rotating a magnetic actuator  close to the face of the sensor. Output voltage varies with  angular position of the magnet relative to the sensor.  Optimal performance is achieved with Cherry’s AS500106  magnetic actuator.

Rotary Position Sensors

This sensor is designed for continuous output corresponding to the rotation angle of a magnetic actuator, typically CHERRY’s AS500106. Two electrically independent outputs assure very high reliability.

Features and Benefits

Angular position sensor with high tolerance for misalignment, Dual (redundant) outputs assure very high reliability, Non-contact sensing up to full 360° rotation, No mechanical interface, Nothing to break or wear out.

AS-interface

Capacitive Proximity Sensors, Inductive Proximity Sensors, Connectors, Cables, Cordsets

In the 1960's Hans Turck, Werner Turck and Hermann Hermes set out to explore the possibilities of automating production processes by using non-contact electronic components. - Turck History

AS-interface (commonly referred to as AS-I) is a low-level I/O system. It was originally intended to be a simple, low cost system that would be easy to install and maintain.
