Mini-Circuits SSG-6400HS Signal Generator

Mini-Circuits SSG-6400HS Signal Generator

The newest model in Mini-Circuit’s SSG signal generator family reaches a whole new level of testing and design potential. The SSG-6400HS can produce signals with frequencies as low as 250 kHz and as high as 6400 MHz with a frequency resolution finer than 0.01 Hz. It also offers AM, PM, FM, and pulse modulation capabilities.

Housed in a compact and rugged metal housing that measures 11” x 8.5” x 2.15”, the generator comes with a power adapter and both a USB and an RJ45 network cable, either of which can be used to control the unit. Simply install the user-friendly GUI software from the included CD and you can immediately begin using the generator.

How does a telephone line work?

"There are several different states that the phone line can be in, depending upon what the phone is doing, and what the phone company is doing to the phone. The central office (or nearby equivalent) applies various DC and AC voltages to the two-wire phone loop (labeled "tip" and "ring") during these various stages of call progress. In the idle state, the telephone company central office applies -48(±6) Vdc...."

MODEL TDM-8E Time Division Multiplexer

MODEL TDM-8E Time Division Multiplexer

Expands capability of the DTR-8E to record up to eight independent analog signals on an 8 MHz wideband channel. Applies time division multiplexing to merge multiple asynchronous or synchronous analog signals into one composite analog signal that is recorded by the DTR-8E. Playback signals through the TDM reconstruct the individual analog signals for each channel.
